Customer Service Manager (FMCG)

Our International client is looking for a Customer Service Manager (FMCG).

The position is based in Brussels and reports hierarchically to the Benelux Managing Director and functionally to the Regional Customer Service Senior Manager Western Europe based in France.

Your tasks:

  • Manage the order to delivery process in the 4 channels Modern Trade/Retail, Food Service, Ethnic Channel / Distributors and Discount and 3 markets with particular focus on new listings, promotions, product availability issues
  • Work closely with all the functions within the Region as well as with the 4 sourcing countries (Italy, France, Sweden & Germany)
  • Day by day management of  local logistic service provider serving Belgium & Netherlands markets
  • Secure customer and product master data management,
  • Manage customer logistics claims and related credit / debit notes working closely with Credit Management unit
  • Prepare and analyse sales forecast in collaboration with the Market functions with scope, detail, horizon and frequency of demand planning processes
  • Monitor service level KPIs, analyse and discuss customer service KPI scorecards and penalties requests
  • Collaborating with the Customer Service Manager Western Europe to define and implement continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to service innovation and efficiency projects working with Head Quarter Customer Service Competence Center and Customer Service Development Manager

Your profile:

  • Academic degree in Engineering or Economics , Logistics / Supply Chain
  • At least 3 years working experience, preferably in FMCG business with skills in Customer and Order Management, Supply Chain and Logistics footprint, Flow and Process analysis.
  • Can Do attitude, bringing fresh perspective and out of the box approach, able to work with a high level of autonomy with a strong drive, leadership, influencing skills and strong focus on results
  • Able to manage cross-functional and international relations with internal and external stakeholders (customers, suppliers, …) with the winning mix of discipline and resilience, empathic listening and communication, proactivity and interdependence and sharing attitude
  • Project management capability, striving for teamwork and continuous improvement approach.
  • Fluent in English, French and Flemish
